Your Fire Marshal Pro download is ready

Thank you for purchasing Fire Marshal Pro: Primary School Edition by Annwn Publications.

You now have access to a local-first fire safety record-keeping tool designed to help primary schools organise drills, weekly checks, open actions, staff training, fire door records, maintenance notes and inspection-ready evidence.

Your school’s records are stored on your own device. Nothing is sent to Annwn unless you choose to contact support or use the optional AI tools with your own approved Anthropic/Claude API key.

After downloading, keep the ZIP file somewhere safe in case you need to reinstall it later.

Quick Start Instructions

  1. Download the Fire Marshal Pro ZIP file.

  2. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract All.

  3. Open the extracted folder.

  4. Double-click Install to Desktop.bat.

  5. Use the new Annwn Fire Safety Manager shortcut on your Desktop.

  6. On first launch, enter your school name, Fire Marshal name, contact number, deputy Fire Marshal and school address.

  7. Go to More > Backup and create your first backup once you have added records.

If your school laptop blocks scripts, ask your IT team to allow the folder, or open index.html directly from the extracted folder.

First Things to Do
Start with these five steps:

  1. Add your school details.

  2. Record your most recent fire drill.

  3. Complete a weekly inspection.

  4. Add any open fire safety actions.

  5. Create a backup file and store it safely.

Once these are done, your dashboard will start showing a clearer picture of your school’s fire safety evidence.

Using Optional AI
Fire Marshal Pro includes optional AI drafting tools. These can help create action plans, inspection summaries, staff briefings and evidence reviews.

To use AI, your school will need its own Anthropic/Claude API key. Please do not send sensitive pupil, staff, safeguarding, medical or confidential building information to an AI service unless your school has approved that use.

The core fire safety recording tools work without AI.

Important Data Note
Your records are saved in the browser on the device you use. They are not stored inside the download file and they are not automatically sent to Annwn.

Use More > Backup regularly, especially before:

  • changing device

  • clearing browser data

  • returning a school laptop

  • reinstalling the app

To move to another device, create a backup on the old device, move the backup file to the new device, then use Restore from Backup.
